We all have a sacred calling in life and we express this calling in many different ways. The Center for Soulful Living offers a new paradigm of soulful ministry to help deepen and expand your spiritual practice and expression. The Soulful Ministry Preparation Retreat allows those who feel a special calling to serve in the capacity as a Minister of Soulful Living in the ways they see their ministry unfolding and evolving. We believe there is a need to provide soulfully oriented people more opportunity to have their spiritual needs attended to by deeply soulful, inspired, and ordained ministers.
The Retreat is designed for those desiring ordination as a Minister for Soulful Living, or those wanting to expand into a more soulful approach in their current ministry, or those exploring and seeking support in developing a personal soulfully directed life. Previously ordained Center for Soulful Living ministers will find the Retreat a wonderful renewal of purpose and spirit.
Benefits of Ordination
An ordained Minister for Soulful Living is able to serve the soulful needs of persons who are drawn to him/her as a minister. Specifically, the minister is certified to perform the following spiritual/soulful functions:
- Weddings and memorials and baby and home blessings
- Pastoral care to the spiritual needs of the sick/dying
- Meditation groups, prayer meetings and retreat/reflection gatherings, regular spiritual services, etc.
- Preaching sermons or lessons related to soulfulness; offering spiritual guidance in matters of the soul; teaching content related to soulful living
- Other functions that a spiritual minister would perform, even if not mentioned here, if those functions are soulful, legal, ethical and requested by the recipient
